Team 21

Max's first "team".  Soccer with his friends from school.  We were really creative with the name...Team 21, the number assigned by Birmingham YMCA.  Mark saw Team 21 and immediately renamed them "Blackjack"...I like it!

Mark was an assistant coach...he received a coach t-shirt and was really proud!  Max wasn't so enamored with his team jersey.  He thought it was too big (which it really was gigantic on him) and didn't look good.  We had to bribe him to wear it in this photo.

Oh how fun....soccer!! Great activity to have him in. So he's not too fond of the jersey, but does he like the soccer playing? I bet he does!

He liked soccer, but he only liked it on his terms. For example, he wasn't much into practice, didn't wear the jersey...but would love to kick the ball down the field as far as he could go...he was still figuring out that it goes in the net!
