MIA

Those letters are actually Max's initials...which I won't spell out here in the interest of his privacy to a public blog.  But what I was really referring to was us Missing In Action from the blog, for the summer, it seems.  I did clarify in an earlier post that I was quite fed up with our internet slowness.  And upon our move this fall, back to civilization, my ability to post would be much improved and my rage at a slow internet connection should disappear altogether (I hope!).

We have had a busy summer.  I do have photos and funny stories to tell.  But, just haven't had the heart to deal with trying to post on our slow inet connection.  I will try to post a few simple photos...I think I was more frustrated with the movies I have wanted to post and kept getting booted...than photos.

But, rest assured, we are here.  We are having fun, lots of it.  We are also having the regular frustrations every family has, but those aren't as fun to blog about :-)  Or, probably more accurate, they would be really fun to blog about and help us put the petty arguments and disappointments that seem so big at the time into perspective...but I might not have a happy home life if I did...hee! hee!

Max has grown developmentally an enormous amount over the last six months.  Several of my friends and family members have commented on this change and I am quite pleased with the changes.  That is an enormous understatement...I am over the moon, ecstatic, enthralled, in love with parenting and my child and my family.  I have to admit that the three's were so much worse than the terrible two's, which weren't that bad for us.  We are onto 4's right now and so far...AMAZING. Loving my baby boy who isn't a baby anymore (and hasn't been for quite some time...sigh) and loving my husband, our families and life in general!

Let's hope I didn't just jinx us with my exuberance....someone did mention recently that every other year is a "tough" year with kids.  As of now, the even's are great.  I'm counting on this person be full of nonsense!
