Blue Suede Shoes in Vegas

Max and I have been in Las Vegas since last Wednesday. We've been having a bunch of fun hanging out in sin city. Although, the only sinning is Max getting into every nook and cranny of our place. And, Max hit the slots on his first day and was kicked out for underage gambling. Security was quite furious to see a toddler playing the slots. I was able to take a few photos on my iPhone, but haven't downloaded those yet.

This is the first time Max has been to our new pad here in Vegas and it was surprisingly childproof. I installed a few light socket guards and that's it. After the slots, Max concentrated most of his time here ensuring the electronics worked properly and immersing himself in water. The alarm clock/ipod player and the pop-up TV in the bedroom were given a thorough electrical review. After the electronics were deemed adequate by Max we checked out our surroundings and went swimming Thursday and Friday. The weather took a dive Saturday and Sunday. He took at least 2 baths and 2 showers each day. He loves our new bathroom, which has a giant jacuzzi tub and separate shower. He owned the bathroom and decided to flood it with splashing several times.

During our tour of the city together, Max was sporting his leisure shoes that Mark bought him...blue suede shoes...seriously. I wish I had a better photo of Max and the shoes...like him wearing them, but I had to include a photo of the shoes. Despite my protest of the leisure shoe purchase a month ago, he was stylin' in Vegas and received a ton of compliments.

Mark joined us for the week-end and left today. Max and I will be heading home tomorrow, St. Patrick's day. May the luck of the Irish be with me and let Max sleep for our long flight back to NYC!

I was wondering why my daily checks to your blog were "fruitless" lately. Now I see why...you were in Vegas! New pad? Did you buy a condo or timeshare? I love all the pics, especially the one of Max climbing on the TV!
