New York Botantical Garden: Annual Train Show

As mentioned in our prior post, we went to the NY Botanical Garden in early December for their annual Train Show. The train show is set inside. It is comprised of specific NYC landmarks recreated entirely in some form of plant life. Every "building" is made ENTIRELY from a leaf, mushroom, bark, twig or other real plant item. It is quite spectacular the intricacy with which the buildings are replicated. Train tracks are set amongst the replica buildings and NYC landmarks and trains run. Max LOVED this trip. We have video, but I'm having a hard time editing so look for that in another post. Here are a few of my favorite photos...love it when he falls back trying to pose for me. In another you can almost feel his energy as he is jumping up and down pointing to the train yelling "Choo! Choo!".
