Max and the Yankees

Max was able to attend a game at the new Yankee Stadium last week with his Aunties Vivian and Vickie and Uncle Mo. We took the B train (subway) to the stadium and it could not have been easier. I'm embarrassed to say that after 8 years in NYC I had only been to one or two Yankees games despite having many opportunities to attend some phenomenal playoff games and such.

Anyway, the new stadium was really very nice. We purchased the $5 bleacher seats and even those seats were great. We decided to go the inexpensive route as we knew that a 2.5 year old would not last long at such an event. We stayed for the first 2-3 innings and then headed home. He had popcorn and peanuts and his Auntie Vivian bought him a big #1 foam finger that he thought was really amusing. The next morning he put it on his hand and said "go Yankees".

Unfortunately, but not really that surprising to me, we were unable to get very many cute pictures of the little monkey that won't sit still!
