Max's Elmo Birthday Party

We had an Elmo themed 3rd birthday party for Max this past Sunday. Boy, was Max excited. He loved his party and was a bit sad that daddy was gone when Elmo visited. Daddy explained that he had to drive Elmo to the party on the boat. Elmo (aka Mark) arrived via boat and walked up the dock to the house with a big bunch of balloons for the birthday boy. Look at the anticipation on his face as he is watching Elmo walk up the dock and how he races to Elmo down below.

There were about 15 kids at the party and Max was generally a very polite host. I don't recall seeing any (ok, maybe I should say, "not much") pushing (a favorite past time of Max's lately) or hitting and he shared his toys very well. He did get a bit possessive of his shark outfit (check out the photo...he loves it and swims with it...the whole get-up) and his dinosaur.
