Iron Man Mask

Max was originally scheduled to be this (see below) for halloween...the costume is Gene Simmons from the rock band KISS.  But, I described it to Max as a rockstar skeleton, which he happened to want to be for halloween.

We bought the costume, he tried it on and LOVED it.

Halloween came and this guy has never been much into "dressing up" as other boys and girls his age seem to be.  So, we suspected he may balk at dressing up for Halloween.  The last two years he would wear the outfit, but not the mask part.  This year, he improvised and wore an Iron Man Mask, but no outfit.

But, knowing my boy as I do, I suspected Halloween would come and this costume may have been a touch elaborate...so I purchased a size too big so he could wear it next year.  The costume is of pretty good quality so here's hoping.

For this year, he was an Iron Man in grey sweat pants and a blue GAP sweatshirt.  He would walk up to the door of each house, grab his helmut from Daddy and put it on.  He then rang the doorbell and yelled trick or treat.  When the door opened, he would press the button on the mask that said "I am Iron Man".  Then he would take the mask off and hold out his bag for his treat.  He had quite a routine going.  He also insisted on riding his bike to each house.  I'll have to dig around and see if I have a photo of that too.

All in all the Halloween experience was great.  The whole family, both sides, participated and we enjoyed ourselves a bunch!
