Skiing Nevada in February 2012
It's been a year since I have posted anything on this site. Life has been going on, but my documentation has not. Unfortunately, I can't remember many of the nuances of the photos I'm digging through.
This is a nice memory, however. Max's first time skiing was Mt Charleston, Nevada in January of 2010.
Max's First Ski Adventure
Here we are again on Mt. Charleston using the same ski lift which he used for his first skiing adventure, Rabbit Run. This time with Mommy vs. a ski instructor. This photo is from February of 2012. If I recall correctly, we skied the tiny hill down and then crashed right at the line for the lift. It was embarrassing for me (and it hurt!) and Max was upset and a little hurt as I didn't let go of his hand so he crashed harder than he would have if I had let go. Tells you how great I am at skiing...eeek, not at all. We will stick to instruction in the future.
