FAO Schwartz

We took Max to FAO Schwartz in early February to play on the big piano. Remember the one in the movie Big with Tom Hanks? They still have one at FAO NYC for visitors to play on. We took him directly to the area one Saturday morning, right as the store opened so that we wouldn't have to wait in line. Well, wouldn't you know it, Max would have nothing to do with it. He wasn't scared of it, he was just excited to look at the choo choo trains he had passed by on the way to the big piano and there was no way we could get him focused on dancing on the piano to make beautiful music. Despite his ignoring our "plans" for the visit, he (and us) still had fun at FAO. It is so much smaller than it used to be, but it remains a great place for a kid!

Also...check out Max's hair. He did it himself with Daddy's help. When we let him put any hair product in his hair he takes a big blob of whatever product it is and then smashes it in one place and smears it all over that one inch area. He doesn't understand that he has more hairs that can receive his attention. So he ends up with a nice little hair do for one inch of his hair. Daddy helped him smear it a big farther out, but you can tell the front part of his hair received Max's attention with the hair product...but it didn't turn out too bad...cutie pie!
