Happy Birthday Uncle Al!

Today is a birthday.

And, we love birthdays.

Birthdays mean cake and candles.

Exciting!

Today we are going to bake a cake for one of Max's relatives.

Uncle Al.

Al is my (Mary) brother. A very fun, sweet, funny brother...and uncle to Max. In honor of Uncle Al's birthday, we are not only going to bake a cake....but since we have no waste in our house (ahem), we will also EAT IT!

Max is in practice for his upcoming birthday and we are going to bake the cake, decorate it, put candles on it and sing happy birthday for Uncle Al.

Uncle Al happens to live on the other side of the country, in California, so he will be unable to savor the delicious cake we are about to make...but we will send photos and I'm sure it will be just as good for Uncle Al to get a photo vs. a piece of the cake we make. Honestly, it could be better as I'm not the best cook, but with Max's help it is certain to be super divine.
