Max's First Ski Adventure

We are in Las Vegas this week-end. Oddly enough, we left Michigan for what is usually a warmer climate, which it is this week-end at 60 degrees. But, we decided to take Max skiing. Mt. Charleston is a 45 minute drive from the strip and at 35 degrees and 28 inches of snow was the perfect venue for Max's first skiing adventure. We had sooo much fun! Who knew skiing was so close to Vegas?

And, the bonus was a program the mountain was sponsoring called Lids on Kids which is providing FREE helmets to kids each Saturday in January. Made me feel better about spending money doing this given we came home with a great helmet Max can also use for his skating adventures!
