Bloomfield Gymnastics
Max started gymnastics again...and he is happy!
Max was in gymnastics last fall and winter. We stopped attending end of winter as mommy had a snafu in sign up and the class was full. We didn't resume attendance until now for a variety of reasons and boy was Max ecstatic to be back.
And, the bonus...his old teacher, Miss Diana, who he really liked and missed was teaching his first day back. She won't be his regular teacher, which is a bummer, but she was impressed with the progress he had made. Miss Diana is a fabulous teacher at Bloomfield Gymnastics on Franklin Road in Bloomfield. She is patient and encouraging to the young ones. Last year, Max liked to run around quite a bit waiting for his turn on the different apparatus, but she was so enthusiastic, supportive and helpful and it was a great class for him.
He missed being in gymnastics as he loves to try to stand on his head (per 1st photo above) and do flips and such. We were hanging out yesterday and I asked him if he wanted to try soccer again this fall (he was on a soccer team this past spring) and he said, "Mom, that freaks me out". I guess that means no.
Max isn't ready for team sports as yet. He loves sports and playing soccer and other activities, but coordinating with other team members...not quite yet for this guy! He talks about being a rock star and is actually pretty good on air guitar. Any moms know of any classes for a 4 year old to encourage musical interest, dancing and such?
