Evaporated...milk?

"Mom!" Max says to me rushing into the room holding a Snoopy cup that has a yellow lid and a red straw, "my milk EVAPORATED!!!!!!".  He said this with a serious look of bewilderment on his face, like he really believed his milk had evaporated.  "I must have left it sitting too long and look, it evaporated.  Can I have some more milk, please?"

I smile widely at Max.  Thinking to myself, this is the greatest line I have heard and Max may have a future in acting.  My milk evaporated...hmmmm?  How can I not give the guy more milk when he was so creative in trying to get more milk.  I've written about Max's obsession with milk before...and if I was more savvy with this blog, I'd be able to put a handy link to the exact posts, or posts, containing information about said obsession...but I am not so savvy with my blog as yet...maybe never.

I did not give my extremely, creative boy more milk.  But, I did tell him it was the best line he had used to date and if he used it again in the future, I might just give in!  He looked at me with a grin and said, "You knew I was joking you?  You knew?"  "Yes, Max, I knew.  Mommy's know almost everything!"
