My First Bike...or Like A Bike

Like A Bike is actually a brand name. It is a bike that is like a bike, but it doesn't have pedals. It is supposed to help kids with coordination and balance. They push it along with their feet while sitting on it like a bike. It is quite popular in NYC. You see preschoolers zooming around on these and they can go quite fast. Cool concept and we gave one to Max for his birthday. It was still a tad bit tall for him, but he liked it all the same. These photos are from July 31. It took us over a month to open the box as he had received so many other toys for his birthday that we spaced out opening many of them as treats over the summer.

Included are assorted photos of his first outing with the bike. At one point he flips it over to examine it like he's a mechanic or something. There are also a few angry photos where he's a bit perturbed that he fell. It was very warm that day and you can see how pink his cheeks are in one of the close-ups. I was sweating profusely vs. a cute "flush" like Max. I also threw one at the end where he's done checking out the bike and moves onto examining a tree!
